Terri E. Alduino Strik

Terri E. Alduino Strik of Bishop Avenue, Rumford, director of training and education for the Providence Housing Authority, died Monday in Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket, after an illness.

She was the wife of Nicolaas T. Strik. Born in Boston, a daughter of Joseph P. Alduino of Portland, Maine, and Concetta (Filippone) Alduino of Boston, she had been a Rumford resident for 15 years.

Mrs. Strik was a 1980 graduate of Boston Latin High School, and a 1984 graduate of Harvard University. She was a master's degree candidate at UMass-Dartmouth.

She was a member of the Board of American Society of Training Development.

Mrs. Strik was a communicant of St. Margaret Church, Rumford.

She was the PTO president at Myron J. Francis School, Rumford, and was active with Girl Scouts in the Rumford area.

Besides her husband and parents, she leaves two daughters, Erin and Nicole Strik, both at home; and two sisters, Patricia Chapman of Lynn, Mass., and Paula McCarthy of Manchester, N.H.

The Therese Strik Volunteer Award (TSVA) will be given each year to a chapter member of the American Society for Training and Development who has demonstrated and outstanding level of contribution, dedication, and support to the ASTD Bay Colonies Chapter and its members.


I found this text around the time Terri passed away but I don't remember where or when I got it. I would appreciate a more recent picture of Terri for this page.
